Glentoran 1-3 Partick Thistle

Sun, 27/07/2014 - 18:45

Glentoran's unbeaten pre-season run came to an end at the Oval this afternoon when they went down 3-1 to Scottish Premiership side, Partick Thistle.

The visitors went in front on 34 minutes when Khris Doolan beat Elliott Morris from close range. Jordan Stewart scored his third goal in two days when he levelled from the penalty spot just before half time.

Late in the second half a shot from Gary Frazer took a wicked deflection off Barry Holland, wrong footing Elliott Morris to put the Jags in front. Substitute, Calum Birney, conceded a penalty minutes from the end which was converted by Kallum Higgenbotham.
