Coleraine v Glentoran   Saturday 11 March 2017, kick-off 3pm.

PLEASE NOTE: The PSNI have requested that Glentoran fans are to enter the ground by Hillman's Way. Ballycastle Road is for disabled access only. Thank you for your cooperation.

This week we make our second visit to the Showgrounds for our third meeting of the season with Coleraine.

After ending last season with a playoff win at the Showgrounds we started this term with a heavy 4-1 defeat there in August that set the tone for the subsequent season for both teams.  Four league places separate the two clubs as Coleraine seek automatic UEFA Cup qualification through either third place in the league or through an Irish Cup win. They will be in a positive mood after a great Irish Cup quarter final derby win over Ballymena United last weekend.

In our last meeting Coleraine were narrow 1-0 winners through a second half winner from Jamie McGonigle. They are currently on an impressive ten game unbeaten run so the Glens manager and players will need to be at their very best to improve on our current away record of one defeat in nine games under Gary Haveron.

Manager Gary Haveron said: “Apart from Jonny Addis (suspended) we’re as near to full strength as we have been this season. Curtis Allen, Jay Magee and Calum Birney all trained so come back into contention. Eric Foley had a full 90 minutes in the U20s win over Linfield Swifts last week so he’s also available. Tre Sterling is available for selection (at last!) but he probably needs a couple of U20 games to get up to speed as, although he’s been training with us for a couple of months, he hasn’t been playing.”
