Season Tickets for the Glentoran Women 2024 season are now on sale. For the first time we will be playing all home matches at the Blanchflower Stadium.
This team are currently holders of the league and cup double, having won the Premiership on 3 of the past 4 seasons and having won the Cup for the past 5 seasons! Packed with international players at various levels, we went through last season’s Premiership campaign undefeated. So there is every reason to get behind the girls this season and a season ticket is by far the best way to do so.
NIFL has now announced the final five Sports Direct Premiership fixtures following the split.
Our remaining games will be as follows:
Glentoran supporters left the Bet McLean Oval at 9.30pm this evening reconciling themselves to a fourth trophyless season in a row following a frankly half-hearted exit from the Clearer Water Irish Cup in this Big Two home semi final.
Declan Devine made just one change from last week’s 4-0 win over Ballymena United, with a recovered Jay Donnelly returning for his first start since the sixth-round game at Ballymacash. Junior was on the bench. This was Jay's 150th game for the club.
Following a pitch inspection we can confirm tonight’s Clearer Water Irish Cup semi final v Linfield is on. Kick Off 7.45pm.
Friday 29th March

Police request that Glentoran fans travelling by car and coach to the Clearer Water Irish Cup semi-final match with Linfield at the Bet McLean Oval Stadium, on Friday 29th March 24 with 1945 hrs KO, leave sufficient travel time to arrive at the match.
The club was delighted to welcome to the Oval and onto the pitch on Saturday, seven members of the Glentoran squad that reached the quarter final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1973-74 season.
These legends were hosted by Philip Stevenson and the Glentoran Supporters’ Committee (1923) to mark the 50th anniversary of the two quarter final ties with Borussia Monchengladbach in March 1974. The players watched the game from the Directors Box and were hosted by the 1923 members at half time.
A disappointing start to the season for Glentoran Women in this opening game in the Avenir Sports All Island Cup at Blanchflower Stadium this afternoon. But given that the team has played one pre-season friendly so far and that the next competitive match is not for another month, the result should not have much bearing on the 2024 season.
