Glentoran FC is delighted to announce that our striker David Fisher has extended his contract for another year in the face of extensive interest from a number of clubs inside and outside Northern Ireland. This will keep David at the Bet McLean Oval until the end of the 2024/25 season.
David (22) joined us from AFC Wimbledon in the last summer transfer window, and since he settled into the team has scored 11 goals, including 7 in our last 6 games to become a very important player for us and a very popular figure among our supporters.

NIFL has announced that our Sports Direct Premiership match with Glenavon, postponed from 19th January, has been rescheduled to now take place on Tuesday 5th March at Mourneview Park (Kick Off 7:45pm)

On Saturday we meet Carrick Rangers at the Bet McLean Oval in what will be the fourth meeting of the season between the 2 sides.
Congratulations to Glens captain Marcus Kane, who made his 400th appearance for Glentoran in our Sports Direct Premiership draw with Cliftonville last night. 234 0f those games have been as captain. To mark the milestone the club Chairman, Colin Jess presented him with a souvenir commemorative first team shirt with the legend Kane 400 on the back.
